The 3M™ Purple Cubitron Cloth Belt 970DZ Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a best-in-class cloth belt constructed of high-performing 3M™ Cubitron Ceramic Purple Aluminum Oxide, designed for medium grade operations. The exceptionally fast cut and long life of ceramic grain make it ideal for production.
Our 3M™ Cloth Belt 970DZ is also heat resistant, produces a uniform finish over the life of the product, and helps eliminate burning during end-grain sanding applications. The cloth backing provides durability and the mineral is resin bonded to the backing for reliable performance, even under high heat and pressure.
This innovative abrasive grain is ideal for a wide range of materials both on ferrous and non-ferrous metals on stainless as well as all wood types. 3M ceramic products enable operators to do more work in less time, for significant gains in productivity.
