This handle/tong holds round crucibles that have a diameter of 2-3/4" (+/- 1/8" - can be slightly adjusted that's for outer diameter. This handle is used when melting metals with a Torch.
The crucible holder shaft is steel mounted into a hardwood handle. The shaft is 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick steel, with a 1/4” screw and wing nut to assure a firm hold while transferring liquid metals.
Specifications:
- Overall length of handle measures approximately: 16-1/2" +/- 1/4"
- Handle Holds Crucibles with Outside Diameters of: 2-3/4" (+/- 1/8")
