This is a NEW addition to our range of crucible handles and tongs, it is designed to hold round crucibles that have a diameters from 3-5/8" to 3-3/4" - is adjustable, that's for the outer diameters. This handle is used when melting metals with a Torch.
The crucible holder shaft is steel mounted into a hardwood handle. The shaft is 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick steel, with a 1/4” screw and wing nut to assure a firm hold while transferring liquid metals.
Specifications:
- Overall length of handle measures approximately: 18-1/2" +/- 1/4"
- Handle Holds Crucibles with Outside Diameters of: 3-5/8" - 3-3/4"
Work Safe:
- Protective Clothing, heat gloves and eye protection must be worn when melting metals.
- Safety factors must always be the Priority.
- Safe Work Area - must be Fire Proof!
