Salamander Clay-Graphite Crucible A-4 "Super" a high quality ceramic bonded clay graphite crucible range manufactured by plastic forming techniques. SALAMANDER SUPER crucibles are used to provide consistent performance in fuel-fired furnaces and medium / high frequency induction furnaces. Crucible for Melting Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass, Aluminum, and more. Can take temps up to 2900°F. TYPICAL METAL CASTING TEMPERATURE: 1562 - 2912°F / 850 - 1600°C

25" Foundry Crucible Flask Tongs is made of steel tubular welded construction, this tong can be used for handling crucibles and flasks during casting and melting operations. Tong is 25" overall length made of round 9/16" diameter steel tube, has 2 different round diameter holding jaws.
The jaws of the tong are designed to hold and handle round Flasks or Crucibles of various diameters, from 2-1/2" up to 4". These tongs make retrieving hot flasks and crucibles in casting application
