Casting Crucible 6oz. capacity, used for Neycraft centrifugal spin caster, boat type used with casting machine. Crucible has a capacity of 9 T.oz. for Gold / 6 T.oz. for Silver.
Crucible is made of fused Silica and withstand temperatures up to 2500°F/1371°C.

Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps extend the life of the crucible. We suggest that you Pre-Heat and glaze Crucible prior to use. Always store crucibles in dry area.
