Crucible is made of fused silica and withstands temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C.
Crucible is made in Italy, a High Grade Silica is used to make this crucible, a superior quality crucible with heavy wall thickness giving extended usage. "A-1 TOP Quality"
Crucible for melting and pouring of precious metal – Gold, Silver, Copper and Brass.
NOTE: Pre-heat the crucible prior to use and glaze with Borax, this will prolong the life of the crucible.
