Crucible is made of High Grade Fused Silica, a long lasting ceramic dish made in Italy "A-1 TOP QUALITY" withstands temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C . This round dish crucible has a pouring spout to easily fill the ingot.
Crucibles should be glazed with Borax powder prior to use, which also helps extend the life of the crucible. *Contact us for details on use and care of crucibles or with questions or assistance that you may need.

The weight of the bar will depend on the metal you’re working with: the particular karat of Gold and the metal density and how full you fill the cavity. The 3 capacity sizes of this Ingot is 2 - 5 - 10Toz in Gold, while the Capacity for Silver will be less.
