Crucible is made of High Grade Fused Silica, withstands temperatures up to 2500°F/1371°C .
Crucible has a solid thick bottom base. Our Crucibles are long lasting "A-1 TOP QUALITY" Crucible.
Crucibles should be glazed with Borax prior to use, which also helps extend the life of the crucible.
