Crucible Melting Dish has a 40dwt capacity. Item is the second one in the set (pictured) of Melting dishes stacked from Small to Extra Large pictured.
Melting dish crucible can be used for melting Gold, Silver, Brass, Copper and other metals. Crucible is made of clay bonded high grade fused silica and withstands temperatures up to 2500°F/1371°C. This is High Grade "A-1 TOP Quality" Crucible is Made in ITALY.
The melting dish can be handled with a tong or "Whip", crucible has a pouring spout.
Pre-heat the crucible prior to use and glaze with Borax, this will prolong the life of the crucible. *Contact us for details & further information and assistance.

Small ceramic melting dish
Well, I will start here... Thank you Jets! I have purchased dozens of crucibles and melting dishes just this year alone and almost all of them are only worth a handful of uses with my oxy acetylene torch before they crap out. BUT... These crucibles from Jets are amazing! Much thicker and all around better made than any others I have seen or used. Order one for yourself and I promise you will never bother looking elsewhere.
