Stonecast™ is a Casting Investment powder for “Stone-In-Place” casting of wax settings this is the very best in the Industry!
The SRS STONECAST™ is made in England and is a special application investment powder and has been developed specifically by SRS for the Lost Wax Casting process of stone in place casting or wax setting.
Using STONECAST™ the Jewelry caster can set diamonds in the wax before casting, rather than in the metal afterwards thus improving productivity.
STONECAST™ can be used for Diamonds and CZ’s stones, SRS STONECAST™ offers the following benefits to the jewelry caster features:
- Pre-blended investment powder for stone casting - no need to make additions
- Provides heat shield for diamonds up to mould temperature of 630°C
- Setting time adjusted to give enough time for mixing and vacuuming without rushing
- Fluid slurry and flash setting to improve strength of moulds
- Improved surface finish for all metals including 24K Gold
