The Dykem 80300 Steel Blue layout fluid is used to coat metal to provide a glare-free uniform color. It is primarily used by machine shop operators who depend on Dykem Steel Blue to scribe sharp, clear, precise lines. When applied, our layout fluids provide a uniform deep color that prevents glare and dries in minutes.
Dykem Layout Fluid creates an extremely thin film coat which adds practically no thickness to the work piece. The fluid has also been useful in jewelry plating process to coat and cover areas that are not be plated, basically like a barrier to shield specific segments of jewelry. It is a simple and ideal method when plating.
