Weighted Rawhide Mallet (Lead Loaded) with a weight of 8oz. is American-made with tough and long wearing water buffalo rawhide, basically, rolled-up rawhide, impregnated with shellac.
The #7 mallet can be used for striking, stamping punches and for forming and hammering metals which must not be scratched. The handle is made select hickory; the durable assembly features screws to securely hold the rawhide roll on the handle.
