Disc cutter features 7 different square sizes, a well-made tool made of hardened steel punches honed to make fine clean cuts. The range of the disc cutter is from 4mm to 16mm square disc.
The block and punches are machined flat and smooth at the cutting end to create perfect square blanks consistently every time.
This Jewelry Making Disc Cutter for precious metals will cut up to 16 -18 gauge thick metal, and can be used on a rubber mat or block to ease the cutting process. The end of the punches are beveled to make it be safely and easily utilized to be used with a dead blow hammer or heavy mallet for cutting the sheet.
We recommend that the metal be annealed (Softened) and utilizing some oil to prolong the life of the edges. It is best to use on a rubber mat or block to ease the cutting process.
