The Lindstrom EX series is the newest line of pliers to come from the world's leader in precision pliers. The EX Series are smaller than the RX line but built for heavier-duty work.
The EX line features wide, ergonomic handles distribute even hand pressure. High-friction grips allow precise handling and maximum comfort. Induction hardened, high-chromium steel alloy produce a strong but lightweight tool and special screw joint offer precision alignment and extended tool life.
The unique feature of the EX Series is the design of the edges of the pliers which have a smooth slightly rounded radius to prevent marring of soft metals, for smooth nick-free wire bending forming thus avoiding scratches and reworking of the parts.
The EX7893 Chain Nose, EX series pliers are the standard version of the chain nose pliers with semi rounded jaws and flat smooth jaws taper from the pivot to the 1.5mm wide tips. Pliers having the shorter jaw length provide for more control, suited for opening and closing jump rings, flat-crimping, bending sheet and wire stock.
