Lindstrom’s EX Series is the Swiss-Made line of cutters & pliers for Jewelry Bead and Wire Arts, for Electronics assembly and Repair. The Lindstrom EX series is the newest line of pliers to come from the world's leader in precision pliers. The EX Series are smaller than the RX line but built for heavier-duty work.
The EX line features wide, ergonomic handles distribute even hand pressure. High-friction grips allow precise handling and maximum comfort. Induction hardened, high-chromium steel alloy produce a strong but lightweight tool and special screw joint offer precision alignment and extended tool life.
The unique feature of the EX Series is the design of the edges of the pliers which have a smooth slightly rounded radius to prevent marring of soft metals, for smooth nick-free wire bending forming thus avoiding scratches and reworking of the parts.
These Flat Nose EX pliers are parallel from pivot to tip, the smooth jaws taper slightly from the pivot to the squared off tips. Pliers are suited for straightening and flattening sheet and wire stock, for wider and larger bends in wire, for metal-forming making angled bends.
