Grey Star Polishing Compound is a polishing compound that has been widely used by Jewelers for lapping and polishing. This polishing compound is used by polishers on metals to cut and bring out the color of the material.
The Gray Star compound works well on Precious and Ferrous metals has an excellent capacity to bring out good color of all metals. A BIG plus on this formulation is that it’s a Water Soluble Compound.
Polishing Compounds used in lapping application are used with buffs and felt wheels. The Gray star has a medium grade composition with fine and uniform abrasives that provide its cutting ability.
It is an exceptional buffing compound material for polishing a wide range of metals, in particular for use on white and harder metals. Works well on Precious metals as well as Non-Precious: Platinum, Stainless Steel, and Palladium polishing.
