This lathe spindle is tapered with treads to hold buffs and soft wheels on the Foredom Bench Lathe.
Right Side Spindle (as you face it): Foredom part # A-TM6 (For current lathes- built in 2002 and later with 5/16" motor shafts)
Tapered Spindle can be used to hold buffing wheel, felt wheels, brushes and other pin hole accessories. The arbor hole is 5/16" and smooth no threading. The tapered portion has right hand threading, for use on the Right side of the motor as you face it.
