Soldering Board Ceramic Board 16" x 16" x 1" Thick, use for welding and soldering as well as a protective heat plate, surface protection when melting on the bench. This ceramic board provides for a large surface to solder, can also be used for whenever melting metal as an insulation plate.
Note: Board should not be used directly on any combustible surface, may cause a Fire Hazard!
Make sure to always anneal the board prior to use! This can be done simply with a torch applying light even heat to the surface of the plate
It has a high temperature tolerance of up to 2000ºF / 950ºC. Board is made of high temperature refractory ceramic material (Non-Asbestos).
Board is very durable and hard with smooth work surface. This board is popular Silversmiths and Jewelers, due to its compact size, used for soldering and welding Jewelry items on the bench.
