This set has 5 of the most basic and frequently tools used by Jewelers. It contains the tools needed to measure finger sizes, a ring stick to measure rings, a steel ring mandrel to measure and to size rings, a ring stretcher and a plastic mallet that can be used with the stretcher and in conjunction with the steel mandrel for sizing.-

Specifications:
Ring Mandrel made of steel graduated with a size range of 1-15 size, the graduations are marked by 1/4 size marks.-The mandrel has an overall length of 12” with a knurled handle for firmer grip, surface of the work area is smooth with clear markings. Mandrel can be used to measure ring size, reshape the rings with use of a mallet.
Finger Size Gauge for measuring ring sizes made of metal with 36 different size rings all are held on a metal ring. Finger ring gauge has a range of sizes from 1 to 15-1/2 US Standard Sizes graduates in 1/2 size increments, has measurements for international sizes as well.
Rathburn Ring Stretcher, enlarger is a basic tool and the simplest way to enlarge jewelry rings, is the most economical and simplest method to stretch rings and it is easy to use. The Rathburn fixture consists of 2 parts, a steel Collet Multi-Stepped Mandrel and Tapered Pin Expander.
NOTE: Base of stretcher may be wood as pictured or plastic.
Place the ring on the stepped collet, choose the size that the rings fit onto, then place the expansion collet on the wooden or plastic base. Now insert the Tapered Pin Rod and gently tap the tapered steel Pin by using a mallet or hammer (light Impact). Make sure not to oversize the ring, and cause it to break apart. Mandrel can be removed by simply tapping the opposite end.
Note: Care must be taken whenever stretching a ring. Tool is not to be used with stone set rings, thin shanks, inspect for any solder joints that may break apart when stretching. Tool works well with Bands, may need to anneal to soften the ring to afford expansion of the metal. Generally this tool fixture will not expand more than 1 finger size.
Yellow Plastic Mallet is made of a non-porous ultra high molecular material that will not mar, especially suited for delicate work. Plastic hammer head measure 1-1/4”:x 3” used for applications with precious metals where marring and scratching is a concern. The plastic hammer also reduces shock on impact when in use. The handle is made of Hickory hardwood, providing a sure grip to the user. The plastic head can be cleaned and refaced by filing and sanding.
Ring Stick Plastic a basic ring measuring tool; made of plastic with a size range of 1-15 size, the graduations are marked by 1/4 size marks. The stick has an overall length of 12-1/2” including a ring hook to store and hang. Stick also has a groove on the opposite side of the markings for measuring stone set rings. Ring stick is a very handy Jeweler’s tool for measuring ring sizes.
