A set of 3 of the largest size Rawhide Mallets made by Garland in different sizes ranging from the size #4 an 11oz mallet to the largest size the #6 which has a weight of 24oz. Made for heavy work operations where extra weight and command is required.
All these Mallets are American-made by Garland Manufacturing. Made of tough long wearing water buffalo rawhide, basically rolled-up rawhide, impregnated with shellac.
These rawhide mallets can be used for forming and shaping metals without marring denting or scratched metal surfaces. The handles are made of select hickory, the durable assembly and shellac treatment securely holds the rawhide roll on the handle. NOTE: Surface of these mallets can easily be dressed like new.
