Carving Wax is a Ferris Brand, File-A-Wax® Rod, wax may be hand carved as well as machined. This carving wax round bar is formulated to the demanding specifications of professional Model Wax Carvers.
The BLUE is a Soft Grade carving wax may be used for model making with CNC Cad operated machines, a wax that can be easily cast by the Lost Wax Casting Process.
Carving Wax Characteristics:
Green: Hard - Cannot be flexed.
Purple: Medium - Regular Grade - Has some flexibility.
Blue: Soft - Will bend 90 degrees on a 1/8" thickness.
