Oval shape Carving Wax Ferris Brand, File-A-Wax Rod, wax may be hand carved as well as machined. The carving wax is formulated to the demanding specifications of professional Model Wax Carvers.
The Blue Wax is a Soft Grade carving wax it is the easiest wax for hand carving designs and models, it also may be used for lathe machining or model making with CNC Cad operated systems, a wax that can be easily cast by the Lost Wax Casting Process.
Carving Wax Characteristics:
Green: Hard - Cannot be flexed, ideal for machine work.
Purple: Medium - Regular Grade - Has some flexibility.
Blue: Soft - Will bend 90 degrees on a 1/8" thickness, ideal for hand carving.
