Oval shape Carving Wax Ferris Brand, File-A-Wax Rod, wax may be hand carved as well as machined. The carving wax is formulated to the demanding specifications of professional Model Wax Carvers.
The GREEN WAX is a Hard Grade carving wax it is suited for detail designs of hand carving models, it also may be used for lathe machining or model making with CNC Cad operated systems, a wax that can be easily cast by the Lost Wax Casting Process.
Carving Wax Characteristics:
Green: Hard - Cannot be flexed, ideal for machine work.
Purple: Medium - Regular Grade - Has some flexibility.
Blue: Soft - Will bend 90 degrees on a 1/8" thickness, ideal for hand carving.
