The legs are rounded on the outside and ground flat on the inside as they taper down so you can mark down to 0.5 mm. Tips have tungsten carbide inserts for toughness and a very long working life. Tips are also precision ground and very sharp. Divider is a unique tool - one of the finest tools of its type.
It is designed for the professional toolmaker and machinist, to meet the high quality that they demand. Adjustment is centrally located in the legs to assure smooth action. Tool has a very good balance and fine adjustment capability.
