Xuron Cutter 2193 is designed to easily cut hardened wire, music wire and cable. This is the perfect tool for cutting hard wire and memory wire up to 1mm diameter as well as R/C throttle cable and push rods. Cutter can be used in a wide range of applications in various fields: Wire Working, Beader’s, Musicians and industry.
The Heavy Duty Double Flush Cutter offers a nontraditional approach to cutting. Cutting blades of this tool completely bypass, causing them to “break” the wire rather than squeeze it in order to cut.
Cutter is made of carbon tool steel that is heat treated and anodized, the handles are covered with nonslip Xuro-Rubber™ cushioned grips. As a result, both the cut and cut off sections of wire are near perfectly square. Cutting effort is minimal due to the tool’s full by-pass shearing action. Cushioned Xuro-Rubber™ grips provide comfort while the Light-Touch™ return spring opens the tool after each cut.
Capable of cutting Soft Wire up to 12 AWG (2mm). Rated for cutting Music Wire up to 0.040" (1.0mm).
