Durable 3M radial Disc brushes can be used to replace wire brushes. Cleans with minimal pressure. Works on a variety of coatings and is a safe alternative to wire brushes. Individual molded discs impregnated with abrasive, that are grouped together to form a brush, that is flexible and cool-running.
This pre-mounted set can be used on a tapered spindle or a tapered mandrel. Plastic Hub is reusable. Use these Pre-Mounted discs with Foredom BL Polishing Lathes, JoolTool, Bench Mounted Motors, Rotary hand tools.
The a flexible silicone rubber type material which is impregnated with 3M (Cubitron™ mineral) abrasive in these bristle discs are consistent throughout wheel, with continuous introduction of a new cutting surface.
The 80 Grit (Yellow) is the coarsest grade available, depending on the application, you will want to stack between three and six discs.
Radial Discs are very flexible, cool running, long lasting and provide a uniform finish. Bristle Disc are great for the Creative Arts and Metal-Smiths, can be used for Wood, Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass and Platinum will work for other metals in various applications
