FOR VACUUM CASTING
SILICONE & GRAPHITE - GASKETS FOR 4" PERFORATED FLASKS
A set of 4" gaskets... High-grade silicone and graphite high-temperature gaskets.
Gaskets are used together to provide the best seal during vacuum casting to seal the perforated flask ring and casting chamber.
The Silicon acts as a sealing layer, while the graphite is placed on top of the silicone, protecting and prolonging the silicone seal from the high flask temperature.
The combination of the 2 types of gaskets provides a very good seal, allowing the vacuum to fully pull the molten metal into the flask.
These gaskets are die-cut, have a thickness of 1/8" for the Silicone and 1/16" for the Graphite.

Item is new, packaged - sandwiched in between cardboard to ensure safe shipping.
VERY Fragile SHOULD NOT BE BENT
Note: The Graphite gasket will last a long time and can be used as long as they are handled properly… avoiding cracking or breakage, they are subject to breakage.
